A former MLA, instead of helping, mocked and dismissed the farmers. When questioned, he coldly responded, “Sell it if you can’t handle it”. His alleged intention? Let the land devalue due to waterlogging, then buy it cheap.

Now, farmers are rising. They are no longer afraid of political bullies. Support is growing. Officials have promised action. If justice is delayed again, the issue will be raised in the Assembly on the 18th.
